Warm Milk for Santa

10 minยทServes 1ยทEasy

There's something genuinely sweet about a child who insists on warming the milk just right before leaving it out for Santa. This version adds a spoonful of honey and a drop of vanilla โ€” not enough to complicate anything, just enough to make it feel intentional. It's a ten-minute recipe with a much longer memory.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • A dash of Christmas spirit

How to make it

  1. 1

Pour milk into a small saucepan.

  2. 2

Heat over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

Warm until steam begins to rise (do not boil).

  4. 4

Remove from heat and stir in honey until dissolved.

  5. 5

Add vanilla extract and mix well.

  6. 6

Pour into a festive mug or glass.

  7. 7

    Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.

  8. 8

Serve at the perfect temperature for Santa.

  9. 9

Leave beside the cookies on Christmas Eve.

  10. 10

Santa will appreciate the thoughtful touch!
